Estudio Sancal, as a multidisciplinary team, does not feel that it has creative limits and has launched itself into a new area; that of textile design.
Rift is a knitted fabric designed exclusively by and for Sancal, which is inspired by the cracks on parched earth. The fractured surface effect has been recreated visually and it reminds us a harsh landscape. However, the skillful confection of this fabric provides it with a soft and pleasant touch.
Rift is a comfortable family of cushions that belongs to COSAS, Sancal’s new lifestyle range. The Estudio Sancal has designed a varied assortment of sizes and interiors for these accessories, complementing the wide range of products from Sancal´s general catalogue. Of course, many of our products can be upholstered with Rift fabric.
Finally, the Rift colour chart can be also found in the new texture finishings that are available for the Mousse seating programme and Duplex tables.
